Steven Schain

 

Steven Schain attended the Rochester Institute of Technology film program with a focus on animation, and photography. In 1990 he started working as a 3D designer and lead animator in the simulation and training industry in Orlando, Florida. At the same time he started Spectralight Images to offer training, 3D visualization, photography, and consulting services.

His teaching and training experience includes teaching 3D animation at Seminole Community College, and training clients such as Disney, Chrysler, Lockheed-Martin and many others. In 1998 Steven was certified as one of sixteen Autodesk Media and Entertainment Training Specialist worldwide and is now one of the first Autodesk Certified Instructors worldwide.

His volunteer work has included serving as Vice President of Computer Animators Plus, an Orlando computer animation organization, for 3 years. He also served as Vice-President, then President of the Orlando Visual Artists League, an artist run gallery and studios, for 4 years.

Today Steven is living and working out of the Asheville, North Carolina area providing highly developed training, visualization and photography services to clients throughout North America.
